I doubt we'll ever seen a hybrid exhaust spit out fire but the new NSX would be great if it sounded like that. One of the main complaints reviewers had was the lack of exhaust sound.

It's going to be harder to change out the muffler and exhaust system in the 2017 NSX compared to the old one. It's simply more complicated because of the quad exhaust valves.

Harder, won't be an issue, fact is there are people willing to pay and the only hard part will be in the engineering process. When there's demand in a market with customers willing to pay good money, supply usually comes through.

Think Clarion Builds will jump on the new NSX since they're already working on the 1991 model?

It would be a smart move since all these builds are marketing opportunities for them, even though they are spending a lot, at the end of the day they are making clarion products a priority in the vehicle.

So something as simple as upgrading speakers might be what they do along with other little incremental improvements.

Maybe they'll do something to improve the engine sound inside the cabin since that seems to be the main complaint most reviewers have with the NSX.

Should be too hard, might be a case of feeding more tubes into the cabin from the engine bay, or something along those lines.

Just looked at their homepage and Clarion Builds seems to only work on the older classics and not the newer models. We most likely won't see anything from them for the new NSX.

That's what I was thinking, with the way cars are built today there's a lot of downsides to yanking out some infotainment system to put in a double din, Lol. Much unlike days before infotainment. Before people would immediately start considering metra kits and aftermarket double dins. Now the conversation has changed over to speakers since it's about the only thing worth changing these days.

If someone out there wants both the old and new NSX in their garage, maybe the clarion built 1991 NSX will be for them. The smoking tire did a video review of it and the car sounds like a beast.

I still prefer the comforts of the new model but I'm sure a lot of enthusiasts would like to get their hands on this one.
