Just thought I would post up this article that says that the baby NSX is "deep into development."

...the mid-engined model is already "deep into development" according to a Honda source who specifies it will use a Civic Type R-sourced 2.0-liter turbo engine tweaked for this new model and teamed up with three electric motors. Just like the previous report stated, total output is estimated at 400 PS (294 kW) thanks to a SH-AWD system like the one in the bad boy NSX.
The article also says that the vehicle will wear the Honda badge in North America, as opposed to the NSX which will wear the Acura badge in North America.

Those patents seemed legit, not like it was something someone mocked up and claimed to be from acura, so i'm not all too surprised this is the case here.

Thanks for posting this update.
