Sorry that I have to ask this, but is it really a copy or a parallel import rebranded for the Chinese. I mean. You know how different car models are called different things in different countries right? It's possible that it's just called something else to appeal to the Chinese sense of superstition in the characteristics of different animals. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some dragon branded car somewhere to be honest.
Just seen pictures of China's first electric supercar and it's looking like something you'd expect to see come out from Tesla, already you can see some Tesla design DNA and that's the problem with these Chinese brands, too much copy, not enough creativity.
Probably. Might have to do with something important to Chinese culture and their beliefs since that's how it usually works with brands, they try to make that connection.
It also comes too close to what Tesla did. It's like they used Tesla as their starting point and went forward from their.
Do you happen to have any more photos of that chinese supercar ? I mean.. it does look appealing, but I want to see if there are anymore styling cues that could have been taken from other vehicles as well
Side profile slightly resembling a Bugatti and rear end of an i8 fused with a Panamera .... Just shooting in the dark here on what comes to mind first when looking at it Oh and what looks to be trunk carpet fabric spread among the cockpit
Even if they just went with that front end which reminds me of a Tesla but changed everything else to be unique to the car and the brand, then I would have more respect for them and like the car overall, but probably not go forward with buying one.
Woah... well yea the front end is really not that bad. But even at that, I wouldn't really be inclined to go through and purchase one even if it did look great all the way through. That's something way too unfamiliar as well as not well known enough.
