Inside Honda's R&D Lab In Japan

and it's an interesting read on where Honda is going in terms of future cars.
The tour included a look at Honda’s Clarity fuel cell vehicle (FCV) and the writer was able to take a spin in it. The big innovation is the continued size reduction and increased efficiency of the fuel cell stack and Honda is taking the long-view, seeing hydrogen fuel as an alternative in the future.
Also shown was a new ten-speed transmission for front-engine, front-wheel-drive cars.
They're also more realistic when it comes to autonomous driving, use it to primarily ease fatigue and driver stress. Fully autonomous is still in the plans but that's far into the future.
