|\|SX Many variables to account for which to a lot of people is news surprisingly.

At least working with this knowledge we'll be able to get a color most in line to what we really like.

Too often I find people that regret getting a certain color months into ownership, especially the other options on the street.

Shawn I'm really excited to see those samples. But that is true. Paint has to be looked at in every different type of lighting, different angles, heck, even cloudy days change the way paint looks

1fastAcura Pictures are always horrible ways to represent a specific color, so many variables that change how it actually looks. Best way is to see it in person and under different lighting; in the dealership showroom, out side under the bright sun, during the evening hours, and even at night.

HondaOrDie I hope both colors are true. They just emailed me today and let me know that both colors have shipped. As soon as hey come in, I'll spray a couple speed shapes and post some pics. I'm really looking forward to the blue, but curious about the red. In some pictures, it looks dark, some bright, and some with a goldish pearl/metallic.

1fastAcura I think at times they are a good route since they always aim to get a paint to look its best, sometimes having to take off paint while making corrections or adding paint when touching up. So someone already doing that has to understand paint, maybe as much as someone working in the autobody field.

RedNSX Didn't actually think a detailer would be able to mix the paint. Think their shade is accurate?

I think they may have crammed too long of a response in there. Glad they were so thorough though

HondaOrDie OK, a small update...I just tried another company on ebay. Ive bought from them before and they were great to deal with. I bought a can of the BMW San Marino Blue before. Anyway, they said they have both colors and I'll be getting a can of each color soon. I'll be sure to post an update.

RedNSX Thanks for doing the legwork! Didn't think they would just tell you but if a detailer can actually mix the paints accurately then the possibilities are endless. Valencia Red Pearl 1991 nsx!
