The NSX Type R will most likely be that one model people go after and can profit off of, but aside from that everything else as far as I can see will be their mainstream trims. |

That kind of helps for resale then. Not sure by how much though considering it'll be sold in more years to come.. Do you think this will end up like the Ferrari's where the first year of each model ends up fetching a higher price than the rest of the production runs ? |

Rick H got his VIN 001 on April 28th per news articles... I give them two months to crank it up to 20/wk for a while... 80/month is 800/year... If you guess 25% of the Acura dealers get cars, that's 500 of 2000, so any dealer might get 2-4/year... Yes I did see one cruizing Hwy111 in Palm Desert in March, and I was SHOCKED that one was on the street... It turned out to be a half dozen or so touring for "track & road testing" with Journalists... That is why you see so many new videos and articles in March-April of this year... My guess is they at least sold 2000 of these. Haven't seen any specified production numbers for the first batch. Maybe later this year we'll hear about it. Could just be the sort of thing that requires asking a dealer or just waiting for an interview with some Acura head. |
