Shawn The main thing is, this car is being developed for race purposes. Competition. Meaning, they're going to do everything they can that can reduce the time needed to change parts or even get parts to perform a lot more optimal. Guaranteed this will have brake ducts if not a more elaborate way of getting the job done

|\|SX More than likely parts of the body was designed for cooling of the brakes. Some car makers really focus on that and this being a car build for speed, you can bet that's what they've done.

But it also comes down to material since some get rid of heat faster than others.

NightWing With all the openings in the front end, I'm sure there are sections there for brake duct inlets. It would only make sense.

RedNSX Did a bit of research into pads and people have said that Castrol SRF is very good since it boils a few hundred degrees higher in real life and Sintered metal pads can take a lot of heat. Cooling ducts are mandatory for track brakes.

Makes me think about what Acura is using for the full carbon NSX.

NightWing They do... but typically after a track day like that, they're roasted

Medium rare is ok but well done are for heathens, rare all the way!
Brakes that are made for this type of intense usage with the right ventilation goes a long way in preventing or just prolonging the chances of warping.

Yupp, warped, and super squeaky.

Need some liquid and air cooled brakes

|\|SX You could cook a lot of steaks on those rotors. Probably medium rare at best.

NightWing Right before the 30 second mark you can see this Lamborghini's brakes getting red hot... in the daytime it's blatantly obvious lol
