Funny we have this thread going since just recently there was some articles out talking about a 4-door McLaren, based off the 570s. The best part is it won't impact performance by much, maybe not at all. Haven't found any good renderings, so here are pictures of the 570...let your imagination go wild:

| FastAndFurious | We'll just have to wait for someone to come out with a rendering or for Acura to come out with something. The nsx is supposed to be a halo car so we could see a four door based off of it. |

| jdmnsx | Since a lot of people have said the NSX looks a lot like the R8, I was trying to look for R8 4-door pictures and there's none surprisingly. Where are the photoshop guru's at? |

That rear passenger door on the Aston Martin Zagato extends onto the rear fender so it's not as large as what you'd see on a normal sedan. If the NSX can do something similar without taking away the roof curve then by all means but, I don't think it'd look that great and the rear passengers will be left with minimal headroom. Also, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is hideous but then again I may be biased as their grille design has always been hideous to me. their German engineering is outstanding but I can't get past the front facia. |

The door on the rendering is actually rather large in my opinion, but I do see what you're saying with the NSX having more of a slope. Anyone care for a 4 door LFA .... ?

I think a good example is the BMW M6 Gran Coupe. If Acura doesn't do it then they'll be beat by the other Japanese brands; Infiniti or Lexus....Lexus seems much more possible. |

It works with the Aston Martin Zagato because the rear end is beefier than the NSX so it's not too weird to put in an extra small door to make it a 4 door. The same may not work with the NSX which seems to have a steeper slope in the back. Would just look weird IMO. |

| NightWing | I really think it would be a great way for them to start curving the company into something quite versatile. Hitting the high end, exotic like market, a super-sedan, and everything down to you're entry level ILX or whatever. Appealing to everyone with the reliability of the Acura name that people know and love. |
