It serves multiple purposes, not just for heat but since its a race car performance is another thing and improving aerodynamics is what these serve for too. On the street it wouldn't be a practical to have them.

NightWing Ah see I knew I was going to miss a bit of information. But that's true. They would get a significant amount less attention if they were to bring out videos right now. Let it all die down to resurrect the hype once again. If the NSX inspired concept does become a production, that would be killer. Obviously it wouldn't have the crazy aero and all of that, I even highly doubt it rocking that upwards of 600 horsepower, but the idea behind it alone would be golden.

|\|SX Now we just need to see it in action through videos and even through videos coming right from acura that talk about the technology behind it. But i'm sure they're going to wait till the shelf life of all this promotion died down to then build it up again. Separate from all the noise.

Shawn That thing is darn gorgeous. I love that. I really want to see some footage though. Surprised they landed 2nd place however.

FastAndFurious Here's two pictures of the NSX EV in action.

Shawn I wouldn't doubt that at all. This thing is fully built with tracking in mind. I'm sure they wouldn't skimp on any sector to ensure as minimal possible failure. Temperature maintenance is a huge factor when it comes to running a high performance EV

jdmnsx They probably even have better ventilation underneath as well all depending on where the batteries are placed and if mounted low then that could be the case.

RedNSX The vents look larger in the EV model so I assume the air flowing through the vehicle will meet with less obstacles and yea, those spoilers will work with the NSX weight to keep the car planted.

Shawn I think the airflow for the aerodynamics would be a dramatic change. Significant increase in downforce, given that's what all of these splitters and diffusers do. I wouldn't doubt majority of it being carbon fiber though
