RedNSX Or stick with the stock Continentals and get a separate set for the track. NOt too hard to change tires if you have the tools to do it yourself.

FastAndFurious After all this to and fro, the general consensus from us is that you should just get the Pirelli Pzero Trofeo R tires when you're ordering the NSX and just get a separate set for track days.

RedNSX Weaving is more for warming up the sides of your tires, maybe useful for drifting and motorcycles but not sure if that's needed on normal track days.

I have seen mixed reviews, but from looking at full tests where they check sidewall, core, shoulder temperatures, it primarily depends on the suns direction and outside heat. Otherwise they'll use the tire warmers to consistently heat the tire throughout.

1fastAcura That's what i've been noticing as well, I guess for motorcycles there's a much bigger need. With cars it's quite common to see tires being warmed up at the track just baking in the sun. Some guys I know start their day at the track very early, sometimes the first ones to show up.

Shawn I'm seeming to only find tire warmers for motorcyles. But ranging from $400 - $700

All depends on where you get it from and i'm sure they can get really high tech to a point that it shows you a temperature read out and all, but i've seen some guys with normal cars run some sort of tire warmer.

Can't imagine some cheap mainstream set going for more than $500.
