1fastAcura As nice as something like that is in the moment, it has a short shelf life when it comes to benefiting them. Ends up being something not many people end up knowing as common knowledge.

Most companies won't take money for auctioning a 001 VIN vehicle. i assume they would all donate to charity. But not every vehicle is auctioned by the manufacturer.

RedNSX Only the NSX profit goes to charity. Not too sure about the other ones but I Acura is voluntarily footing the cost of that first NSX for charity.

St.Who Everyone else at the auction was probably annoyed that the same guy just buys everything. Leave some for the rest of them buddy.

RedNSX Apparently he bought 2 more Vin 001 cars at the auction. just dropping around $4mill in a day.

FastAndFurious At least the proceeds are going to a good cause and this seems to be a new trend with auto manufacturers. Ford auctioned off a Focus RS for diabetes research at Barrett-Jackson too.
