mr.smith Such a beautiful drive and the NSX looks great doing it. Wonder how much it was holding back.

Sprint to the clouds with Acura's NSX


While the NSX spent most of its time at Pikes Peak as the official pace car, it wasn't all work for the latest Japanese sportscar.

Acura installed some 24 cameras along the mountain course as the NSX amde a spirited sprint to the top. Acuras people were quick to note that the Hybrid would not at all come close to its limits, the event was intended as a demonstration.

Just because the NSX wasn't on the edge doesn't mean Acura didn't put on a show. Contrary to that. The rear end breaks loose, sliding subtly through corners, not to mention the twin turbo V6's howling sounds reverberating off Colorado mountain walls.
