Wrapping is for the guy that wants to have some fun and change up colours and see what it looks like. For the more serious that are looking for that show finish, sprayed is the way to go.

If you're lucky and and your Acura dealership has an NSX in the colors you want, you can go look for the paint code yourself. All paint codes for all Acura models are located in the driver side door jam.

That might be a bit hard since a car like the NSX might not be as accessible as a TLX or ILX. Some dealers lock them up and even keep them out of reach for many. It's more of a process where you have to inquire.

What can do be done however is just you asking guys at the parts desk, quick and easy.

You do make a good point. My friend's porsche 911 GT3 rs was roped off when it was sitting at the dealerships so people won't get touchy with it and that car has a lower price tag than the NSX.

Yea.. I don't think this is one of those vehicles that has a demo model sitting in the showroom that you can get your paws all over and sit inside of it and what not. It'll probably be tucked away with a nice buffer zone around it so people can't get all up close and personal

Thanks guys for all of the help. The closest dealership is over an hour away. Not that long of a drive, but just finding the time to go is difficult. I've been looking at several different colors (Toyota Magnetic Grey, Chevy Tahiti Green, Honda Nighthawk Black Pearl, etc.) I've decided to go with some sort of blue, and I think the BMW San Marino is the best so far. I've even bought a can of the San Marino blue and painted a 1/24 model of a CRX to get an idea of what it'd look like. I'll try to post pictures of that soon.

As for the CRX build, I bought the car bone stock from a teacher at Appalachian University. The guys brother bought it new and decided to give it to him later on. Everything worked, minus the AC, and ran great. Never wrecked, and definitely got a great deal. It's always been a dream car of mine but finding one that's not been messed up is very hard to find.

Great news!! I finally made it to my local Acura dealer (an hour and a half away) to ask about the paint codes. I went in, asked the lady at the front desk, and she took me over to the parts dept. I asked the man behind the counter about some paint codes, and this is what he gave me.

R556P (Valencia Red Pearl)
B605P (Nouvelle Blue Pearl)

In and out in less than 15 min!! haha I've emailed a company to see if they can mix these colors for me. So if they can, I'll order these colors, and post pics of what each of them look like. Just a little update if anyone was wanting these codes. Thanks all
