We don't know much about the next Nissan GT-R since it has been delayed until at least 2020. The NSx would have been established in the market by then so you can't really compare the two.

Closest I can think of for hybrids is the BMW i8 but the NSX has a beefier engine. Maybe the i8 refresh will be able to stand up against the NSX.

I think they were saying the i8 face lift should bring approximately 420hp ?

Right now, the i8 has a combined output of 362 horsepower and it may get a 60hp boost while the NSX has 560 hp. The updated BMW i8 will be a bit closer in power to the new NSX but not enough to be a threat to it.

People who go for the BMW i8 aren't exactly doing it for the power. They do it because it's a hybrid and it's a BMW. Some people won't switch over even if the NSX has more power.

You can say that since people let some things go, although it isn't a true sports car or supercar, it's good enough for what people need it to do on local streets. Plus the way they came to market with it set themselves up perfectly to add more in the future.

I don't think it's brand loyalty, more like people prefer German and Italian exotic/performance cars over Japanese brands for the name and prestige. There will always be buyers like that and then there are those who are looking for a vehicle with great performance like the NSX and it'll have the Acura reliability.
