The NSX paint is 11 coats, I'm sure there won't be any problems with it and it won't be soft and easily scratched. They're so careful with the NSX when they're sent out of the plant, I'm sure the packaging would be more than enough to protect it.

The new owner even went with matching red calipers to go with his red NSX! Wonder if he'll do any mods to it or leave the NSX as is.

11 coats ?! That's intense. Sounds like the paint will hold up just fine. I would still probably end up completely clear wrapping the car just for that extra protection. Can never be too safe.

Clear wrapping is the way to go, just have to make sure you have the paint inspected and in perfect condition before the clear wrap is put on since you'll be sealing in what ever is there. Better make sure it's good.

Nothing I'm aware of... but then again this was secured very well and unexposed to the exterior elements. I wouldn't be worried too much... it travels from PMC straight to the dealer. Domestic RORO.

Yeah once it's in an inclosed trailer like that there's just about no need for concern about the exterior. But there are supercars brands out there that still cover the car up. On an extreme level, there's McLaren that makes sure to cover their P1 hypercars entirely.

I guess once it comes out as immaculate as it did leaving the factory. Still would be a preference for me though.

That's a lot better than what most mass produced models are transported in. I see a lot of car trailers where the vehicles are exposed to the elements and that NSX got it's own trailer.

I'm expecting to see more NSX start rolling into dealerships now. Keeping an eye out to see which ones are getting them first and who's next.

@forty5th is yours on the way?
