The downside is with how complex cars are these days there's a higher chance for delays in production to happen since they're sourcing parts from that much more suppliers. Just have to be patient.

Garage
I've heard the # is 120/mo, but near term it is 80 per month.
Rick H got his VIN 001 on April 28th per news articles...
I give them two months to crank it up to 20/wk for a while...
80/month is 800/year...
(8-10/day is 160-200/mo and I guess that is not going to happen anytime soon)
How many dealers will get cars?
If you guess 25% of the Acura dealers get cars, that's 500 of 2000, so any dealer might get 2-4/year...
Sounds like it will be a rare treat/feat to see a Production unit, let alone get your hands on one...

Yes I did see one cruizing Hwy111 in Palm Desert in March, and I was SHOCKED that one was on the street...
It turned out to be a half dozen or so touring for "track & road testing" with Journalists... That is why you see so many new videos and articles in March-April of this year...

Still waiting for SN TBD... it's now been almost 3 years...

I think I'm going to end up taking a trip to the bigger Acura dealership closest to me just to see if they can keep me updated as to when they'll be receiving anything.

I thought they were producing at least 8 vehicles per day from the get go, so 40 units per week. That was the targeted number, any less than that and people could be waiting until next year to get their. The first production cars rolled down the line April 1 but the first one was only delivered April 28th. wondering if it's the delivery that's taking so long.

It could very well just be delivery. Always a possibility

Try to get onto a mailing list since a lot of them do that, some even do phone alerts. Had a buddy of mine have that happen with a McLaren dealer, and another with a Range Rover dealer.

Yea I was definitely thinking of letting them give me a quick ring whenever they hear or get anything. Just seems to be the most convenient, there's no way I'm taking time out of my day to keep going and checking in lol

Maybe shipping is what's taking so long. Acura could be waiting to produce enough to fill a ship before sending the first ones across the pond.

Well there's no point. They're the ones with the resources to check, not you.
