Specs posted on Acura Canada site

I was just checking up on Acura.ca to see if they had any more info on the NSX, and noticed that they do have some specs posted. Some highlights:

Engine is 91.4 x 88.9 mm bore and stroke, 10.0:1 compression ratio, and cast pistons (figured they would be forged). Uses 0W-40 oil, which isn't that common in my neck of the woods.

Has a 39.7 foot turning circle, which I was hoping would be smaller but is probably similar to the previous NSX.

Does have active noise control/ active sound control
Comes with Apple Carplay / Android Auto
Standard audio system is ELS 9 speaker system with sub.; 2 USB ports

Standard seats are manually operated, power seats are optional, which I assume will also come with seat and mirror memory function.
Milano leather standard, semi-aniline leather optional

FACTORY OPTIONS:
  • Carbon fiber exterior sports package - CF front spoiler, side sills, rear diffuser, dark chrome exhaust finisher
  • Carbon fiber engine cover
  • Carbon fiber roof
  • Carbon ceramic rotors - includes choice of silver, black, or red calipers (does this mean caliper colour isn't available with iron rotors?)
  • Carbon fiber rear spoiler
  • Exclusive interwoven wheels - choice of machined, painted, or polished finish
  • Technology package - Navigation, Acuralink, front & rear parking sensors
  • Technology package with SiriusXM
  • Interior carbon fiber sports package - carbon fiber meter visor and steering wheel garnish, aluminum foot rest and sport pedals
  • Black alcantara headliner

EXTERIOR COLOURS:
  • Valencia red pearl - apparently, pearls will be several thousand dollars option
  • Nouvelle blue pearl
  • Casino white pearl
  • Source silver metallic
  • Nord gray metallic
  • Curva red
  • 130R white
  • Berlina black

INTERIOR COLOURS: available with all exterior colours
  • Ebony
  • Saddle
  • Red
  • Seacoast

So, given those factory options, my choices would be: Valencia red pearl with Seacoast interior, power seats with standard leather, technology package, and interior carbon fiber package. I would love to get the carbon ceramic rotors with red calipers, but I'm guessing that would put it over my budget. Carbon fiber roof would also be nice but I'm not sure is worth the money.

Also, I've noticed that the website doesn't list the optional Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. I'm also guessing that there is a bunch of dealer installed options available too.

Another interesting fact: Iron front rotors are 370mm diameter, carbon ceramic ones are 380mm. Rear rotors are 360mm for both iron and CC.

Great find!

My NSX build:
-Curva red or Valencia red pearl (going to need to see pictures of them for a color comparison)
-Technology package - Navigation, Acuralink, front & rear parking sensors
-Red interior

That's pretty much it because I'm not sure how the carbon fiber options will looks like and I'm not a bit fan of the carbon fiber pattern.

Maybe the extra 10mm for the carbon ceramic rotors is to make up for the reduced braking performance when wet?

I have the same view about the NSX and carbon fiber bits, the design is so clean that it discourages me from adding anything more , afraid of making it look tacky. I think as long as its subtle, then it shouldn't`t be an issue.

Casino white pearl or 130R white would look great with carbon fiber parts. A bit of contrast in color and design.
With the Carbon fiber exterior sports package, Carbon fiber engine cover (a must IMO), Interior carbon fiber sports package, and the tech package navigation.

What does the Seacoast interior look like again?

I'm planning on removing most of the engine covers, so a carbon fiber cover would be a waste for me. What's the point of having a mid-engined car if you can't see the engine?

Seacoast used to be called Orchid. Not sure why they changed the name. But here is an example:

And this is Saddle:

I'm going to keep the cover on. Actually like the design of it. If it's easily removable then I'd remove it or leave it on depending on my mood.

I can see why some will want the covers since it does help to give the bay a high end feel, sort of like what you get from Audi, Lamborghini, etc.

Is that what they're calling championship white now, 130R white?? (it's a corner at Suzuka)

Except that Audi, lamborghini, ferrari, etc. usually have their engines exposed, not covered up.
