So much more than I thought went into the design aspect of the NSX. Didn't know they had to redesign the exterior so much just by changing the position of the engine.

Was thinking that with a higher performance NSX they would change the steering wheel but due to how sporty its said to be... i'm starting to think all they might do is keep the shape but just change materials used, maybe even tech on the wheel as well.

they talk about air intake and reuse so much but we still don't know the coefficient of drag.

Strange that she says they are keeping it lightweight when one of the main criticisms is its heavy weight. I do like the side intake that the designer poitned out. That hold in the body by the rear window is really cool.

Quite a detailed review, but Leno sure isn't funny for a guy who made his money as a comedian.

How they used air flow seems quite innovative which has me wondering if other brands have done anything similar, brand competing in the same space like Ferrari and McLaren, for all we know those brands with their rivals could have ways they can learn from the NSX. They just might not admit it.

McLaren probably did, it's another brand that's serious about performance and getting the best times. You should look into high end cars like the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918. That's where this tech gets to its best.

very true

just looked up a jalopnik article that talked about it for a bit and it's quite impressive with what they did to the P1, but of course you'd expect that level of things to go on in a $1+ million hypercar

The McLaren P1 was designed to produce a lot of down force but the Acura NSX seems to have been designed to optimize cooling.

What I took from them is they used the air it takes in for aerodynamics and turn that into what can cool the car, if you look how air flows that's what it does, it serves multiple purposes. The McLaren is capable of some crazy speeds and overall needs good aerodynamics for the extreme driving its capable of... much more than the NSX.
