The electric motors should provide instant torque when you come out of curves but I doubt most people will use all 573 hp.

Indeed, but at least with power at it's peak being that high it means during the lower RPM range you have that much more power to play with.

All that power can be used on a long straight, but we shouldn't be seeing much of that with the NSX.

I haven't really had the chance to drive a car this powerful before, but I am thinking that the torque makes more of an impact on driving most of the time than horsepower. Top speed is great, but I think that you can experience great acceleration on a more regular basis while top speed can only be experienced on the track.

The review suggests for you to drive it in Track mode with a set of sticky Michelins to wake the NSX up. Will that help with acceleration coming out of a turn?

It will help all throughout the turn since you'll have better cornering and in that be able to push it harder.
