Automobile was one of the select few worldwide who had the chance to test the 2017 Acura NSX hybrid both on track and on the country roads.
While coming out as an all-wheel-drive coupe, the NSX does have the optional “Quiet” mode where for a short while it can operate as an electrically powered front-wheel driver. In normal mode the NSX drives exceptionally fast and the steering wheel feels perfectly weighted with amazing accuracy.
Unfortunately I can't embed the video showing the NSX curving around the Golden State twisty roads at high speeds so you'll have to actually go to their site to watch it.
That video also presents a great opportunity to hear what the NSX sounds like when run full all out, good enough that some owner might not see a need for an aftermarket exhaust setup, for the rest of us... stock is not an option
