NSX Is So Smooth

One benefit of hybrid cars is the smooth underside that's completely covered by panels. No fear of debris damaging anything important on the underside of the car and it'll protect the car on those last few days of winter when there's still salt on the road.

Underbody covers help a lot but even with salt on the road you still have a high chance of getting it suck in the underbody, so you have to be careful, either don't drive it or drive it and spray the underbody really well.

^^ That's a big thing. A lot of stuff will get accumulated under there as much as you think it's all nice and covered. At which point, removing all of those panels looks real fun. Probably end up paying someone to do it anyhow BUT still looks like a PITA

I'm sure at some point you'll have to remove those panels for a good clean but I highly doubt anyone here will do it themselves. Just too much effort and I wouldn't want to risk damaging anything myself.

This shouldn't be necessary for a long while, some small things may get stuck like fine dirt but the panels will block most debris.

Well yeah it takes some effort, you would need a lift, jacking it up is possible but you won't have that great room to work with, especially since these panels are big. Plus if you have the money to buy one of these, odds are you have the money to pay a detailer to do a job like this.
