Well that's a bit more personalized than anything. I'm looking more for something much more tamed that complements the vehicles original design. That sort of brushes right over it. Might be why Ferrari gave him a hard time

Nah, Ferrari just had a stick up their butt when DeadMau5 came out with the purrari. Doubt the guy would get an NSX when he has a stable people like me can only dream of. McLaren P1...

I'm sure Acura wouldn't care if you wrapped the NSX like that and it's actually not that bad looking. I previously went to a car show and saw his purrican just sitting there.

Well that's the difference between Ferrari and Acura, Acura actually needs people to accept the NSX, Ferrari is... Ferrari, and they're so confident in their status they applied some crazy restrictions on owning certain cars. I know with the FXX K, you can buy one, but Ferrari still keeps it and tells you when you can drive ti and where...and that's only scraping the surface.

That's some serious restrictions. But what about manufacturers like Koenigsegg ? Of a much higher caliber, what are they're restrictions like ?

I think Koenigsegg too has restrictions, first owner has to fit the ideal profile they're looking for. At least that helps come time to sell these as 2nd, 3rd, etc owners will pay top dollar just to have one if they so desire.

I can kind of understand the FXX K since it's not really street legal but Acura doesn't have that kind of exclusivity associated with the brand so you can do whatever you want with the NSX. But it's interesting to read the hoops people has to go through just to own one of the very limited models out there.

It really is interesting to know what it's like. But of course, the NSX can't have any restrictions as it doesn't fit the same prestige those other vehicles do.

I'm both excited yet apprehensive to see what the Japanese supercar scene will do to the NSX. I've seen some pretty gaudy body kits but they are very unique if nothing else.

Just by looking at what they're doing to the 458 and Huracans, I'm sure we can expect something pretty extreme. Does it fit my taste.. not really, but it's still something different that entails a lot of work and modifications to be done that not everyone has the guts to do

How extreme is the real question since Acura doesn't seem to be in the business to make a direction competitor, so chances are it will be extreme in its own way and not extreme like how we are seeing some supercars these days.
