2016 Acura NSX Price

If Popular Science is correct then the price of the 2016 Acura NSX will be $155,000.

Just 5k above what we originally estimated.

Not like that will make a difference to us

Plus Popular Science probably did that just to stand out from all the 'around $150k' mentions found through a lot of automotive publications.

At the Detroit auto show back in January, at the unveiling, it was announced that the estimated price was going to be in the "mid-$150k" range. That is where that figure comes from. So far Honda hasn't released any more information on pricing.

To quote Mike Accavitti, "Pricing hasn't been set yet, but I can tell you our expectation is that the NSX will start in the mid $150 thousand range."

Thanks for providing that information.

When it comes to how high pricing can to, how much do you think it will be?

It's unclear really. I'm sure you could add some $10ks to the price if you add technologies, special paint colors, rims, etc...

That sounds about right, factoring in things like special paint and wheels would easily shoot it up another $8k at least, then you have what ever other thing that will be added.

I'm just curious how they will go about options. Will there be options that almost everybody will get so really they should have been standard? How much will be standard?

That's not typically how they sell supercars or sportscars.

Acura deisnged the car to be an everyday supercar I would imagine most of the content will be standard kit.

Looks like pretty much everything comes standard and there's only a few options for you to choose from. Guess if they're going to charge you upwards of 150k, they may as well give you the normal options as standard.

Those are accessories though. Options are built into the car at the point of production.
