I actually wouldn't mind paying more to get it but that of course depends on how much more and my options for getting the vehicle elsewhere. Then there is of course who you know or who you can know to hook you up!

I think someone offered him an additional 20k for the one he ordered. The 2016 NSX is going to be sold for around $155,000 and if it get's competitive enough to add an additional 20k, not sure if it's going to be the price point I want.

Wow that's a lot of coin but i'm not surprised since folks with the coin to drop like that who want it bad enough will do just that, especially to be one of the first.

Even if the price gougers are able to hype it up, by whatever
amount, I have no intention of letting it go. Let's hope the pricing is and remains fair... As possible anyway.

I'm sure they'll identify what will be an ideal amount to increase price by which is enough in consideration of the overall price of the NSX, what people are willing to pay and what will not turn them away.

Probably a percentage they follow.

i doubt we're going to see large markups. Its not a car thats going to be hotly in demand like say a CR-V... I'm not saying people won't want it... but its not the type of purchase thats made out of necessity, like a family car...

That mention of markup with the use of some percentage they apply throughout the line up might be what we see. Even at a $5,000-10,000 mark up I won't mind paying that much.

Don't think they've come out with unit numbers yet and Acura hasn't even finalized the actual price of the NSX either. We're just speculating right now. $5,000-10,000 markup is fine but there may be other options out there if the price is hiked up too much.

McLaren just came out with the 570 and 540 coupes, so the higher Acura goes in mark up's with the NSX, the more into 540 and 570 territory you are, actually... a $5,000-$10,000 mark up on top of the suggested $150,000 MSRP pushes you right into Mclaren 540c pricing. Now that is an attractive alternative.
